Nashik is all set to witness the thrills from 31st May

53 Entries: Defending champions Arjun Rao Aroor-Satish Rajagopal, Karna Kadur-Musa Sheriff pair up

Nashikkars are all set for Blue Band Sports INRC 2024 Rally of Maharashtra. As many as 53 entries have been registered in the rally this year and 5 women’s teams are also participating in it. Therefore, on the occasion of Women’s Power Nation Power Rally, their skills will also be on display.

All preparations for this rally have been completed. Western India Sports Association (WISA) is the main organizer and is supported by co-sponsors Grape County (Hospitality Partner), Sapkal Knowledge Hub (Service Park Partner) and My FM (Radio Partner). Competitors are accommodated in various hotels in the city including Grape County. The competitors have started reaching Nashik. All cars will be inspected at Moharir Motors, Satpur, document inspection will be done in Grape County.

Reputed drivers from all over India

Everyone is curious about this rally being held in Nashik after eight years. This year, the registration of contestants has crossed 50. MRF, JK Tires drivers’ claims of victories will be strongly challenged by other sports clubs and teams. Among the nominees is defending champion Arjun Rao Aroor along with his co-driver Rajagopal Satish, while Karna Kadur is accompanied by Musa Sheriff. When we say rally automatically Gaurav Gill’s name would naturally come forward, but although this name has now fallen behind, everyone’s attention will be on the performance of Gaurav Gill along with co-driver Maharashtrian Anirudh Rangnekar. Apart from this, last year’s INRC-2 winner Harkrishan Wadia and INRC-3 winner Jahaan Gill will have some tough competition on the tarmac. All eyes will be on the performances of Sahil Khanna, Amittrajit Ghosh, Jason Saldana, KC Aditya, Vikram Rao Aroor.

Atmosphere building at Trimbakeshwar

A strong atmosphere has been created by putting up rally placards on the entire Trimbakeshwar area. Therefore, the special rally (Super Special Stage) to be held at Grape County area on the 31st May has acquired a special significance for the people of Nashik. There is no doubt that along with the younger lot from colleges, citizens living nearby and happy spectators will crowd, of course there will be police presence in urban and rural areas, on the 1st and 2nd June Trimbakeshwar, Morchundi, Nilamati, Ghodipada, Poshera, Karoli, Hirvepada, Mokhada, etc. outside Nashik. A difficult winding road in rural areas has been chosen. Driving your vehicles at high speed on this steep road will require real skill of the drivers. For the second and third stages, the village sarpanch, citizens and the district police have offered significant support.

A look at the performance of women contestants
The number of women in this National Rally has been increasing since last few years, five women teams have participated in this year’s Rally of Maharashtra. It includes Harshita Gowda-M.Srivastha, Pragati Gowda-Sujeeth, Anushriya Gulati-Akuta Karan, Nongrum-Rahul Sancheti, Nikita Takle-Parmar from Bangalore.

Special prize for photographers
Capturing the rally of Maharashtra after eight years in Nashik through photographing, video shooting, news, article writing can also be called a skill, so that the amateur photographers of Nashik can capture this rally and their sight, WISA has made special arrangements to take them on the rally route. Not only this, the photographs of such photographers published in newspapers for three-four days will also be given prizes in the following order – First (1500 rupees), Second (1000 rupees) and Third (750 rupees).
