Day 1 was a skilled day for all the drivers of Rally of Nashik. WISA introduced first time in Nashik PROLOGUE a good skilled competition between Comp. NO. 5, 6 and Comp. No.7 to get minimum penalties. As their timings was very close, few sec. difference in cars. In two wheeler category Comp. No. 71 took 0 Penalties and Comp no 61 took Max. penalties.
Rally of Nashik will officially start its Prologue round on Saturday, 26/11/2016. Which is a fun experience for all the participating Rally drivers / riders. This is the time to cheer our own Nashik Drivers / Riders for Prologue. Lets gather by 9.30 AM at NIWEC to have fun and experience all the new concept for Driving / Riding skills.

With less than a week to go, the Rally of Nashik 2016, scheduled on 27th November 2016 is a fantastic opportunity for Nashikites to showcase their skills, in this TSD rally.
Rally of Nashik comprises of 3 categories –
Only for NIWEC members – Entry fee Rs. 2500
Open and All ladies teams – Entry fee Rs. 3000
Two wheelers – Entry fee Rs. 1500
The “Rally of Nashik” will run as a local event and will NOT be part of West Zone Championship. We are dropping the zonal championship due to lack of registrations so far. But the interested participants still can register with FMSCI and participate in Goa event/s from Zone.

The Rally of Nashik, 2016 which shall be a TSD rally and also be a West Zone round for FMSCI INTSDRC (Indian National TSD Rally Championship) has been postponed by 2 weeks. It has been re-scheduled, earlier it was to be held on Nov 12th & Nov 13th, now it shall take place on Nov 26th & Nov 27th. Kindly adjust your schedules accordingly.
Now competitors have finished special stage No 4 of MRF Rally of Maharashtra 2016. Nashik’s own hero Suraj Kute has improved his performance after first section. Now he is at second position in IRC category.
Comp No. 5 , Samir Thapar crashed into paddy fields during first stage of MRF Rally of Maharashtra 2016. He retired immediately after that.

Round 2 of the INRC and IRC, the MRF Rally of Maharashtra covers around 400 kms., which includes 75 kms. of special stages (driving tracks) on tarmac roads. The routes of the stages are closed sections of public/private roads which have been disclosed to competitors for reconnaissance.
